‘MDNA’ on track to suffer worst second week drop in history

46,000: The number of copies of Madonna’s “MDNA” album which have been sold in the last week, according to projections. The disc sold 359,000 in its first week, making the drop in sales the biggest such drop in history. In comparison, Adele’s “21” — which has been on the charts since Feburary 2011 — sold 100,000 copies.
