As bad as Republican losses were in the 2018 midterm elections, the little red wave that hit Florida on Nov. 6 went a long way toward cushioning the blow. So consequential is the Sunshine State, where Republicans narrowly won two critical statewide races, that many conservatives will still deny that we just experienced a Democratic wave election at all.
