This is a lamentable development, for until the former president is out of the picture, the Republican Party and American conservatism cannot thrive. Trump did deliver many conservative wins for America — nominating originalist judges who then overturned Roe v. Wade , cutting taxes, and staying out of disastrous regime-change wars, to name just three. But along the way, he corrupted his party and conservatism by dragging it...
