Nancy Pelosi brings in $16.1 million for Democrats in first quarter of 2018

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi announced a $16.1 million fundraising haul for the first quarter of the year on Monday.

Pelosi, a fundraising powerhouse for Democrats, raised $15.4 million of that directly for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Her office said she’s held 71 fundraising events in 17 cities. As of the end of March, Pelosi had raised $66.7 million for Democrats for the 2018 cycle.

As of April 9, House Speaker Paul Ryan had raised $11.1 million in the first quarter of 2018 alone for Republicans.
