Montgomery County bus riders: Get ready to squeeze even tighter.
Starting Sept. 5, cuts made to help fill a $1 billion budget gap will go into effect for the RideOn system.
Overall service will be slashed around 3 percent, but no routes will be entirely eliminated, according to the agency.
Among the changes: Segments of Routes 7, 22, 32, 33 and 43 will be eliminated. And buses will run less frequently on about two dozen routes.
The changes can be viewed at rideonbus.com.
