A man who was gunned down in an alley near Columbia Heights has been identified as 21-year-old Terrence Desean Smith of the District.
Around 10:50 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 700 block of Columbia Road NW, to investigate the sounds of gunshots and found Smith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
No one has been arrested in Smith’s killing. Anyone with information that can lead to Smith’s killer can call D.C. police at (202) 727-9000 or 1-888-919-2746. They offer a reward up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information that leads to a conviction.
