An exotic dancer in Florida is facing charges after she posted on social media about wanting to open fire into a crowd with an assault-style weapon.

Brein Basarich, 31, was arrested by police in Lakeland, Fla., last Wednesday after she wrote about her “vision” for a mass shooting on Tumblr, a microblogging website, authorities told local news outlets. Basarich, who performed at Plant City’s Showgirls Men’s Club, made the threats under the username “taking-lives,” Spectrum Bay News9 reported.

“I had a vision … of a very public place, only one way in and one way out,” Basarich wrote, according to the Bradenton Herald. “Preferably a bar/club on a busy night. 2019 has a lot in store if my plans go according!”

Basarich, who described herself to police as a true-crime lover and a “great admirer of serial killers and mass murderers,” told another Tumblr user she had homicidal “urges” and planned to buy an AR-15 “soonish,” ABC Action News reported.

Basarich’s account has since been taken down.

She was charged with making a written threat to kill or injure but has been bonded out of Polk County Jail for $5,000.
