Hillary Clinton will receive the Forbes International Women’s Day Lifetime Achievement Award at the March inaugural “Forbes 30/50 Summit” in Abu Dhabi, Mika Brzezinski announced Tuesday on Morning Joe. The award is in recognition of Clinton’s “leadership and influential voice on the global stage in advancing the cause of women and fighting for gender equity.”
“I am thrilled to announce former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will headline the next month’s 30/50 summit in Abu Dhabi,” said Brzezinski. “I will interview Secretary Clinton as she receives the Forbes International Women’s Day Lifetime Achievement Award.”

Brzezinski is a chairwoman of the summit and founder of the co-sponsoring organization, Know Your Value. “Hillary Clinton helped shape and define an era in which women rose in protest, changed the conversation, and ultimately came to power,” she said on Morning Joe.
“There is no one more fitting than Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton to receive the Forbes International Women’s Day Lifetime Achievement Award,” said chief content officer and Forbes editor Randall Lane.

The event will “bring together generations of women to mark International Women’s Day,” Brzezinski said. According to Forbes, the summit will gather individuals deemed remarkable under the age of 30, as well as those over the age of 50.
Recent exploratory polling into the viability of a Clinton 2024 presidential run revealed that the failed 2016 candidate would likely fall flat against both former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, and even Vice President Kamala Harris. According to the poll, Clinton shares about the same level of popularity among Democratic primary voters as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
In December, Clinton began crying while reading an excerpt of her would-be acceptance speech, had she won the election in 2016. The clip was released ahead of her MasterClass on the power of resilience. According to its website, “MasterClass delivers a world class online learning experience” and features 150-plus speakers.
