Dim Bulb: Martin Kessman

WHO: Martin Kessman WHAT: The 290-pound stockbroker is suing White Castle because he could not fit into the booths of the restaurant chain’s Nanuet, N.Y., franchise location. Kessman claims White Castle is violating the civil rights of fat people and is suing for damages under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

WHY IT’S DIM: If you can’t fit into a restaurant booth, maybe you should eat fewer cheeseburgers.

CURE: Trial lawyers already make enough money. Repeal the citizen lawsuit provision of the ADA. Then go on a diet.
