Elderly driver on I-95 strikes two police cruisers

A 70-year-old driver struck two Virginia State Police cruisers stopped along the side of interstate 95 in Dale City on Saturday afternoon.

Burke resident Robert Korinchak had already sideswiped one cruiser when he crashed into another police car that had stopped to aid a wrecked vehicle.

The force of the impact pushed the cruiser into another vehicle with two children inside, according to InsideNova.com.

Police say no one was seriously injured in the crash. A state trooper was treated for minor injuries at the scene. Korinchak faces reckless driving charges.
