NEW YORK (AP) — Police say a 30-year-old man was slashed to death in Queens.
Officers responding to a 911 call found the man lying on the street at 97th Street and Northern Boulevard shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.
Police say the victim had slash wounds to his face and neck. He was to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as 30-year-old Fabian Carreno, of Queens.
There were no immediate arrests.
