America is becoming more vulnerable

Memorial Day was marked by an oil disaster, an act of war, and increased tensions in the Middle East. All Americans ought to be deeply concerned about the uncontrolled BP oil leak in the Gulf, the provocative naval attack by North Korea, and the Hamas (Iranian)-backed conflict with Israeli troops.
Coupled with a world economic crisis, increasing anxiety, tension and violence around the globe, restrictions on our domestic energy resources, and our military forces thinned by the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan and the war against terrorism, America is becoming more vulnerable by the day.
What if the instabilities and provocations turn into an all-out attack against Israel by Iran & Company, or against South Korea by North Korea? How will the United States react? And what if al Qaeda steps up its attacks on America?
President Obama’s weak stance on the U.S. response to attacks using weapons of mass destruction is certainly not reassuring.

Oil spill is secondary story for FOX
While listening to Fox News the other morning, Chris Wallace said he had two top stories to report: the massive BP oil spill and the Sestak job offer.
I could not believe which one he lead with. Yes, it was the Sestak story. It was 10 minutes into the program before Fox got to the oil spill.
Here we have millions of gallons of oil spilling daily into the Gulf of Mexico, which will pollute it for the foreseeable future, but since that story does not dig deep enough into hurting President Obama, they forego the bigger story in favor of a much less serious one.
Par for the course, in my opinion.

Obama on wrong side of moral issues
How times have changed. President George W. Bush’s Sanctity of Life Day has now been replaced by President Obama’s anti-Christian Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.
At least we can say one thing about President Obama: He is consistent. Consistently wrong on moral issues, that is. He always takes the side that is shortsighted, focused on self, and harmful to individuals and society. He sides with those demanding that the innocent be discriminated against while the immoral are celebrated.
Is it any wonder that Obama sits in the White House today playing his fiddle while the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings burn?
