3 hurt in downtown D.C. fire truck crash

Three people were rushed to the hospital Friday morning after a collision involving a D.C. fire truck and two vehicles in downtown Washington.

The fire truck was responding to a call at the George Washington University library around 7:30 a.m. when the vehicles collided at 14th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. The crash snarled downtown traffic for several hours and other rescue units responded.
