Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump misspelled Bobby Knight’s name on Monday, while simultaneously touting the retired Indiana University basketball coach’s recent endorsement of him.
In a tweet posted early Monday morning, the billionaire said “the support of Bobby Night has been so amazing” ahead of Indiana’s May 3 primary.

Within 15 minutes, the tweet was deleted and replaced by a new tweet in which Knight’s name was spelled correctly.
Trump was mocked by the Internet in late February after he was forced to delete a series of tweets in which he misspelled “honor” (he wrote “honer”) and described ex-White House hopeful Marco Rubio as a “chocker” (he meant “choker”).
He and Knight have been campaigning across Indiana since the legendary Hoosier first announced his support last Wednesday. Knight also joined Trump on the cable news circuit last Friday for several interviews about his state’s upcoming nominating contest and the reason he decided to back the businessman.
“You think of the things that are necessary for getting something back together and going in the right direction, you tell me who’s better to do it than he is?” Knight told Time magazine in an interview last week. “This guy has a better background perhaps than anybody that has ever been a first-time entrant to the White House.”
Trump is set to hold two rallies in Indiana on Monday, just 24 hours before Republicans cast their ballots in a primary that could be key in determining whether the billionaire secures the necessary number of delegates to secure the GOP nomination.
