YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) — A child and two adults are hospitalized after a shooting in Yonkers.

Yonkers Police Lt. Arthur Lien described the injuries Friday as non-life threatening.

He says the shooting happened around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Palisade Avenue and Elm Street.

A pizzeria and gas station are located nearby.

Lien says victims are being treated at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.

He says they’re still in the preliminary stages of the investigation and that he didn’t have information on a suspect or motive.

The intersection remains blocked off.
