It’s a grand day when you get to spend your time searching for photos of monster trucks flying through the air. One of my other ideas for this cartoon was to have a Richmond legislator driving a steamroller over a Virginia everyman, but I shelved that because I thought the image was a bit trite. And tell me who wouldn’t want to draw monster trucks when you have the chance?
This one is in the same vein as my bear trap cartoon from a few weeks ago, but it made sense to do it since I hadn’t drawn a local cartoon in a little while. Also, the abusive driver fees are still a hot topic, seeing as some court decisions are finally being made about their constitutionality.
