1990: Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose married model Erin Everly (who inspired “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and is the daughter of an Everly Brother) after he showed up at her house with a gun saying he’d kill himself if she didn’t marry him. Their marriage lasted 26 days, one of the shortest in entertainment history.
