HOUSTON (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard says it has found a missing charter boat with four people aboard about 40 miles off the Texas coast.
A Coast Guard air crew spotted the boat Tuesday morning in the Gulf of Mexico. Officials say all four people are in good condition and have had food and water.
Family members of the missing boaters had reported them missing to the Coast Guard on Monday night after waiting many hours for them to return.
The charter boat left Galveston Yacht Basin and was headed toward Clay Pile Bank early Monday.
