NEW YORK (AP) — The NYPD says two people were found shot, one fatally, inside a parked vehicle in East Harlem overnight.

They say a 33-year-old pedestrian also was found nearby with a gunshot wound to the left forearm.

Police say the Honda Accord’s front passenger, 23-year-old Terry Nathaniel of the Bronx, was pronounced dead at the scene around 2:25 a.m. Tuesday. He sustained a gunshot wound to the torso.

The driver, identified as a 27-year-old man, had a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The pedestrian also was in stable condition.

Police say the car was parked near East 121st Street and Lexington Avenue.
