The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on Wednesday approved three of President Trump’s nominees to lead the nation’s nuclear power watchdog and serve as the Environmental Protection Agency enforcement chief.
The committee quickly voted to move Nuclear Regulatory Commission members Annie Caputo, who was approved 15-6, and David Wright, who was approved 12-9, to the Senate floor for a confirmation vote later this month.
