Alex Jones clashes with ‘little gangster thug’ Marco Rubio on Capitol Hill: WATCH

Infowars founder Alex Jones accused Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., of being a “little gangster thug” and a “frat boy” Wednesday morning on Capitol Hill outside of a hearing with Facebook and Twitter executives.

As Rubio, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, fielded questions from the press about foreign interference and bias over social media platforms, Rubio was interrupted by Jones who pressed the senator about “Democrats purging conservatives” from social media platforms. This prompted a heated exchange between the two as Jones characterized Rubio as a “frat boy.”

Rubio denied knowing about Infowars’ website, and claimed he didn’t know who Jones was. “I swear to God I don’t know who you are man,” Rubio said.

Jones then put his hand on Rubio’s shoulder, which had the senator warning Jones not to touch him again. “Don’t touch me again, man,” Rubio said. “I’m asking you not to touch me again,” Rubio said.

“I just patted you nicely,” Jones replied.

Amid crosstalk, Rubio said that he would “take care of you myself” instead of calling Capitol Police.

“You are literally like a little gangster thug,” Jones said. “Rubio just threatened to physically take care of me.”

Rubio eventually left the scrum, telling the journalists present that they could continue talking to “this clown” while gesturing at Jones.

Jones’ appearance on Capitol Hill comes after a variety of tech companies cut content from Jones and Infowars from their platforms due to violations of their policies on hate speech.
