QUICK NOTES: What I’m Driving This Week

A Dodge Nitro graced the driveway a week and was just replaced Friday by a Saturn Outlook. The Outlook is Saturn’s version of GM’s all-new crossover. The GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave come off the same platform. I wouldn’t be surprised to see versions from Chevy and Pontiac, too, if sales are strong for these first entries.

I have to say after only a day or two of driving the Outlook that it is an impressive vehicle. The second and third row seats fold flat, which opens up a near-minivan-like cargo area, the interior design is warm and inviting and the performance is good.

I’ll have a lengthier review in the near future.
