The U.S. military announced that an American service member died Wednesday in Kuwait, in what was described as “a non-combat related incident.”
A statement from Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve provided no further details.
The Pentagon withholds the name and identifying information about service deaths until 24 hours after the next of kin has been notified.
