AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Austin authorities say a fatal house fire was caused by an electrical problem and foul play isn’t suspected.

The Austin Fire Department said Sunday that an electrical short in an outlet box located in an outside storage room caused the Saturday fire. Authorities say one person was declared dead at the scene of the fire. They haven’t released the person’s identity.

No injuries were reported. Authorities say the fire caused $150,000 in damage.

The department says it’s the fourth fire death in the city this year.
