President Trump’s approval rating has reached a new low again this week amid the ongoing debate over healthcare reform and mounting questions about his former campaign chairman’s connections to Russia.
As of Wednesday, just 35 percent of voters in Gallup’s daily presidential tracking poll approved of Trump’s performance in the Oval Office. Fifty-nine percent disapproved, marking an uptick of two percentage points since last weekend.
Trump’s approval rating had already dipped to a low of 36 percent earlier this week.
The poor rating comes days after the White House was forced to pull its Obamacare replacement due to a lack of support for the legislation among moderate and conservative Republicans.
Trump has also faced renewed questions about his associate’s ties to Russia, including whether ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort was working with the Kremlin to undermine Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
The Gallup poll of 1,500 Americans contains a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
