Faith No More?

Are you a college student or alumnus? Does your institution have a position when it comes to religion? Is it affiliated with a faith? Perhaps it is supposed to be affiliated but, in this day and age, is willing to cover up symbols of Christ just to get the president to speak on campus? Does it bother you? Maybe it doesn’t. Maybe your school’s connection with religion didn’t make a difference in your life whatsoever. Having gone to Georgetown, I can tell you a good number of classmates and friends who have had varied experiences–one became a Jesuit priest, another is still an atheist, and still others remain devout Jews and evangelical Christians. Either way, check out the college survey being conducted by First Things. The more responses, the better sense we’ll get about the state of schools and faiths.
