While speaking to the National Urban League in New Orleans, Louisiana this evening, President Obama went off script to criticize Americans for watching the hit television show Desperate Housewives:

UPDATE: It’s Real Housewives the president criticized folks for watching (he did not mention Desperate Housewives, as was originally stated in this post). Apparently, the two shows are different. This post has been updated to reflect that fact.
