A HuffPost contributor boarding a train in New York City confronted two men not wearing masks while drinking coffee, insisting the men wear their masks at all times.
The incident, caught on video by producer Ashley StClair, starts with a journalist identified as Sandi Bachom, who was wearing a face mask and a shield, confronting the two coffee-sipping men. Bachom was recorded saying that she has “70,000 Twitter followers” while recording the men in an apparent attempt to expose them to her audience.
These mask-fanatic women from hell started filming & harassing these men for drinking coffee on the train
The older one said “I have 70,000 Twitter followers” like the men should be scared ?
People have lost their damn minds.
If you’re that scared, DON’T TRAVEL— STAY HOME! pic.twitter.com/stivaBDfTR

StClair stepped in to defend the men, telling Bachom that “these men are just drinking coffee. They’re allowed to have a mask off when they’re drinking.”
“They weren’t wearing masks,” Bachom responds.
Other train passengers interjected in an attempt to get Bachom to leave the men alone, while StClair told Bachom to mind her social distancing.
“You know what’s safer than a mask?” StClair asks. “Social distancing. That’s more effective than the mask. So why don’t you step back and leave him alone?”
“You’re not involved,” Bachom then says to StClair, as a second mask-wearing woman stepped in to take Bachom’s side.
The conductor of the train then made an appearance to investigate, whom Bachom attempts to persuade that the maskless men need to be reprimanded. Instead, the conductor insists that Bachom take her seat away from the men or he will call the police to intervene.
The story is not the first viral incident of people being confronted for not wearing masks, with one incident involving the family of a two-year-old girl being kicked off of a plane when she refused to wear a mask.
In what universe does this make any sense??
A two-year-old child?
WATCH this video. This isn’t keeping anyone safe. It’s just arbitrary & nonsensical. And infuriating. https://t.co/kXGGbP81Ak

Another viral incident featured a disabled veteran being surrounded and pinned to the ground at a mall after he was confronted for not wearing a mask.
Bachom did not immediately respond to a Washington Examiner request for comment, and her Twitter profile has since been set to private.
