HOUSTON (AP) — Houston-area emergency personnel are treating multiple people for injuries after a roof collapsed during a gathering in a residential neighborhood.
Authorities say it appears the roof of a garage collapsed Thursday afternoon in west Harris County as dozens of people gathered for an event.
A makeshift triage area was established in the front yards of homes. Officials say approximately 30 people have been taken to hospitals, mostly with minor injuries.
No other information was immediately available.
