Sky Roberts, the father of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, said he believes convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was murdered by powerful people who did not want to be exposed.
“To know now what I know now about Jeffrey Epstein and Miss Maxwell and several others, I’m sure that’s why Jeffrey Epstein is not alive right now is because someone did not want to see his books or whatever he’s got on everybody,” Roberts said in a Tuesday interview with Good Morning Britain. “I know he didn’t kill himself. It had to be somebody from above that came and got him and took him out.”
Roberts said he had met Epstein and he seemed to be a normal guy and “nothing about Epstein” initially made him believe that the financial mogul was a pedophile. Roberts Giuffre, the daughter of Roberts, has accused both Epstein and Prince Andrew of raping her when she was a minor.
Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother also does not believe Epstein killed himself, and a famed pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden, whom he hired to do an autopsy on his brother’s corpse. Baden, the former New York medical examiner, claims Epstein’s death in August is more consistent with “homicidal strangulation” than the suicide that the current New York medical examiner has said was the cause of death.
The FBI is currently conducting an investigation into whether a “criminal enterprise” was involved in the death of Epstein. Two prison guards have been arrested for failures to check in on Epstein while he was in his New York prison cell.
