Donald Trump is expected to meet with the Senate Republican Conference next Thursday, according to a Politico report.
The presumptive GOP nominee will sit down with members of the upper chamber at 10:30 a.m. at the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s headquarters on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
Trump is also slated to meet with House Republicans that day though it is unclear if only party leaders or all rank-and-file members will be present for both events.
The meetings come just two weeks before the party’s convention in Cleveland, Ohio, July 18-21.
