DELIVERING THE GOODS: Google hopes to make online shopping a more appealing option by offering same-day delivery of groceries and other products ordered on the Internet. The express service announced Thursday initially is being tested among a small group of consumers living in the San Francisco area.
WHO’S ON BOARD: A variety of neighborhood, regional and national retailers such as Target Inc. and Walgreen Co. have enlisted in Google Shopping Express.
