No one can say the D.C. Council chairman doesn’t have a sense of humor.
A program kicked off Monday for city employees that’s meant to encourage them to walk. Organized in teams, D.C. workers can compete against each other for the number of steps they take each day.
Some, but not all, of the council offices have joined the get healthy effort. Among those signing up is Chairman Kwame Brown’s office. Council sources confirmed that Brown’s office named its team “Fully Unloaded,” an entirely unveiled reference to Brown’s pursuit of a city-funded, fully loaded Lincoln Navigator.
