White House senior adviser and President Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump earned a total of $3.9 million from her stake in the Trump International Hotel in D.C., according to new financial disclosure forms.
By contrast, Trump received $2.4 million in profits in 2016 from the hotel, which launched in September 2016 and is down the Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House.
The new financial disclosure forms, as reported by Politico, also reveal that businesses associated with Trump’s personal brand earned a minimum of $5 million in profits.
Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, also a White House senior adviser, together shared between $229 million and $786 million in assets at the end of last year — up from $203 million and $740 million at the end of 2016, the Wall Street Journal reports.
“Their net worth remains largely the same, with changes reflecting more the way the form requires disclosure than any substantial difference in assets or liabilities,” said Peter Mirijanian, a spokesperson for Trump and Kushner’s ethics counsel, per the Wall Street Journal.
The numbers were included in financial disclosure forms that top federal employees must file annually.
