Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is back for another movie — which means another wall-crawler game is here as well.
Much like “Spider-Man 2: The Game,” SM3 sets Spidey loose in a huge, detailed NYC sandbox to battle bad guys and keep the peace like only a spider can.
You can take the web-head through a series of missions that can be anything from playing out the plot of the movie (fighting Goblin 2, Venom, etc.) to a skydiving challenge.
The 360 and PS3 versions are beautifully detailed and handle much like the previous installment, but at points you gain the powers of the black suit to thrash baddies.
The Wii version takes more of an RPG approach with a power tree where points are spent to customize Spidey as you choose. The graphics aren’t next-gen, but the amazing motion-control swinging makes up for it.
Using the Wii remote and Nunchuck controllers, you flick out webbing from your left or right hands to create a custom swinging style that suits you.
Swing out and snag this radioactive spider-game.
