LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities in Los Angeles say several people were injured after a high-speed chase involving what was reported as a stolen Tesla.
Los Angeles Police Officer Christopher No said police got a call shortly before 1 a.m. Friday about the vehicle and officers spotted it speeding down a road. They gave chase, but the short-lived pursuit ended when police were involved in a traffic accident. They were treated and released at the scene.
The Tesla later crashed into other vehicles and a building. TV footage showed the flaming car sheered in half.
