NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police say a man has been stabbed multiple times on a subway platform in Manhattan.

Police say the victim was attacked around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on the southbound No. 1 train platform at the 18th Street station in Chelsea.

They say a group of men were involved in a dispute when the victim was stabbed.

Police say the victim is in his 50s and was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The suspects are being sought.
