Joe Biden’s presidential campaign will put a pause on running ads that attack President Trump in response to the president testing positive for the coronavirus and pausing campaign activities.
The decision to pull negative ads was made before the president was transported to Walter Reed hospital on Friday afternoon, multiple news outlets reported.

Earlier on Friday, the Democratic presidential nominee and former vice president said he and his wife Jill Biden would pray for the recovery of the president and first lady Melania Trump.
Biden tested negative for the coronavirus on Friday. Some feared that he may have contracted the virus from Trump at Tuesday’s presidential debate.
At a campaign stop in Michigan on Friday, Biden called for transparency from those who test positive for COVID-19.
“Every single American deserves safety and peace of mind, and it means we need transparency,” Biden said. “Those who test positive need to participate in contact tracing so that everyone who they may have exposed can get tested themselves. That’s how you stop transmission for any epidemic. It’s basic.”
