Largest nursing home in D.C. to close

More than 330 elderly residents of the largest nursing home in the District of Columbia will have to be transferred to other facilities now that the owner has decided to permanently shut down.

Patients of the Beverly LivingCenter, Northwest, at 3333 Wisconsin Ave., and their families have been given the legally required 90-days notice to vacate — though the move is expected to take much longer.
