Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, not one to shy away from Hollywood impersonations, gave a shout out Wednesday evening to a student whose presidential candidate impersonations at his middle school graduation has become a minor Internet sensation.
During his Chicago-area middle school graduation last week, Jack Aiello impersonated a number of 2016 candidates and politicians to talk about school issues. He poked fun at President Obama, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Cruz. Each impression received loud laughs and the audience erupted into rave applause on multiple occasions.
Video of the 8-minute display was later posted online, and has received quite a bit of attention, including from Cruz himself.
