Two more days to comment on I-95 HOT lanes

Two days remain for the public to comment on the high occupancy/toll lanes planned for Interstate 95.

The HOT lanes would allow drivers with two passengers, or drivers who pay a toll, to use the lanes, on which engineers hope commuter traffic will move at a faster pace.

The Virginia Department of Transportation held three public meetings in September to discuss the lanes, which will run from Edsall Road in Fairfax County to Massaponax in Spotsylvania County.

Officials will keep accepting public comment until Oct. 14. Commuters can email [email protected] with their comments.
