Activists project ‘morally unfit,’ ‘impeach Trump’ on Trump DC hotel

Activists at a social networking website projected images on President Trump’s Washington, D.C., hotel Monday night proclaiming the president is a “sexual predator” and “morally unfit,” a line borrowed from former FBI Director James Comey.

The phrases were projected onto the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., located down the road from the White House. The efforts were organized by Care2, a San-Francisco based social network of activists that boasts a membership of more than 40 million, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Projected on the building were the terms “morally unfit,” “impeach Trump,” “there is a rapist in the White House,” “Trump is a serial sexual assaulter,” “groper-in-chief,” and “the president=sexual predator.”

“Trump has been accused of harassing or sexual assaulting 20 women, yet another reason this criminal does not belong in the White House. For Sexual Assault Awareness month (April), we will be reminding everyone of this fact by projecting onto Trump hotel in DC on Monday April 16th at 8:15 PM EST,” the group explained as part of a petition calling for the House of Representatives to impeach Trump.

The petition, first launched a year ago, had 343,276 signatories as of publication, just shy of its 350,000 goal.

The White House announced last month Trump had named April “National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.”

During the 2016 campaign, more than a dozen woman accused then-candidate Trump of sexual misconduct. The White House and Trump have denied the allegations.
