Former Vice President Joe Biden added his voice on Friday to the chorus of Democrats celebrating the House GOP’s failure to bring their leadership’s healthcare bill up for a vote.
“Every American who worries about getting healthcare when they get sick can breathe a sigh of relief today,” Biden tweeted.

Biden’s short tweet is tame compared to some of the statements made by Democratic lawmakers chiding and lecturing their Republican colleagues after the American Health Care Act was pulled from the House floor when it became all but certain it didn’t have the votes to pass.
Hillary Clinton also chimed in. “Today was a victory for all Americans,” the former secretary of state and 2016 presidential candidate wrote in a statement shared via tweet.
