President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner reportedly criticized CNN”s coverage of the administration during a meeting with a top executive from the network’s parent company.
Jared Kushner, a senior White House adviser, recently met with Gary Ginsberg, executive vice president of corporate marketing and communications at Time Warner, to discuss what Kushner considers unfair coverage of the president, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Kushner has also brought up the issue with CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker.
He specifically took issue with contributors Van Jones, a Democrat who served in the Obama administration, and Ana Navarro, a Republican strategist.
Both have repeatedly criticized Trump.
“Really, Little Jared complaining about me cuz I get under President Daddy-in-Law’s skin? Oh, baby boy, I’m so sorry,” Navarro tweeted upon reading the news.

“It’s no secret that the President and his team have been critical of CNN’s dishonest coverage of the President both during the campaign and since his inauguration, and it’s obvious their ratings have suffered as a result,” a White House official told the Wall Street Journal.
A CNN spokeswoman pushed back, saying the “White House has their facts wrong. CNN’s ratings are up 50 percent.”
Among adults 25 to 54, the network’s total day rating were up 51 percent so far this year, according to Nielsen.
Trump often lashes out at CNN. At his news conference Thursday, he called the network “very fake news.”
