Tiger Woods shot a 44 on the front, 79 for the round, and finished 16 shots off the lead, yesterday, in the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village. Later, speaking the royal plural, Woods explained:
We didn’t hit that many bad shots starting out the day and the next thing you know we are quite a few over par. It was a tough day. I tried to fight back on the back nine, just didn’t quite materialize.
And for that, we all say, “Abundant thanks for enlightening us, your Grace.”
