Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch has a buyer for his Colorado house.
The property, which was listed for $1.675 million in June, reportedly has been placed under contract for an undisclosed amount after the price was reduced to $1.63 million. Gorsuch and his wife reportedly bought the home for $1.03 million 10 years ago.
The listing for Gorsuch’s former home described it as a “horse lovers’ paradise near downtown Boulder,” which features mountain views and a three-stall barn and is surrounded by miles of riding trails. The house has a heated outdoor swimming pool in a professionally landscaped garden, a gym, five bedrooms and bathrooms, a wood-beamed office with built-in bookshelves, and a basement playroom that has “room to entertain about 100 of your closest friends,” among other accoutrements.
Details of the sale were not included in Gorsuch’s financial disclosure report for the 2016 calendar year that was released this week, meaning more about the transaction likely will not be known for another full year. The deal has not gone to settlement yet.
