Here’s the first paragraph of the Washington Post‘s report of Dick Cheney’s speech at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) earlier today:
With protestors greeting him upon arrival, former Vice President Dick Cheney addressed an audience at the American Enterprise Institute Friday morning as part of the think tank’s 10th anniversary commemoration of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Hmm. Protestors mentioned in the first paragraph . . . must’ve been quite a protest!

There are more cars in this shot than there are protestors, yet somehow the Post reporter ignores that fact and instead chooses to mention the clowns. (And, yes, it’s a photo that accurately represents the size and scope of this morning’s protest.)
