Good first period. Rough second. Caps gave up the game-tying goal to Mason Raymond on a 2-on-1. He patiently waited out Jose Theodore and finished it himself. Mike Green was behind the play after jumping up into the offensive zone for a quality scoring chance, but Roberto Luongo made the save and the Canucks were off the other way. Caps aren’t just whiffing on the power plays – 0-for-3 so far – but are looking bad doing it. Third period coming up.
