Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Monday that there’s no chance special counsel Robert Mueller has anything on President Trump, based on his own assessment of where the investigation is now.
“No,” Giuliani said on Fox News when asked if Mueller could have something that Trump’s team doesn’t know about.
“Because I’ve been through everything, I’ve talked to the president,” Giuliani when asked to explain his assessment. “The president’s an honest man. He did nothing wrong, hasn’t done anything wrong. Throughout this he’s said, ‘Give them all the documents.'”

Giuliani added that when Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen said he had tapes of conversations with the president, some lawyers were worried. But Trump said, “don’t worry,” Giuliani said.
He said he has since heard the Cohen tapes and said those tapes “vindicate” Trump.
Giuliani also repeated his call for Mueller to end his investigation into Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign by Sept. 1, and said letting it drag on past that date could unfairly influence the election.
