Two new people were added to Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker’s ethics taskforce at the request of the County Council.
The board is reviewing the county’s oversight structure and formulating a recommendation about whether a county watchdog group should be established.
W. Chris Stewart, the CEO of Educational Dimensions Inc., and Athena Malloy Groves, an associate judge on the county’s Orphans’ Court, will join the Accountability, Compliance and Integrity (ACI) Advisory Board, Baker said.
“I was happy to accommodate the council’s recent request for additional appointees,” Baker said. “Ms. Stewart and Judge Groves’ diverse and professional backgrounds will further complement the board’s efforts and goals.”
The board is set to meet Saturday at Prince George’s County Community College.
